yay!

for those of you that didn't know my dad had to get surgery done on his knee.
he had it done yesterday and we didn't think he'd be home until after thanksgiving,but he's coming home today! so let us be thankful,eat lots of turkey, and hope that UT wins!!!

here's the animal cell i had to make for bio...the nucleus is a peppermint patty,the twix are the mintochondria,sour straws are the golgi bodies,gummy octopussusesessesss(ack! whatever!)are the ER,sprinkles are the ribosomes,the M&M's are the vacuole and...something else*cough,i forgot* and the frosting is the plasma membrane....it won the most attractive award so i got 5 extra points on my grade! yay! my dog gave it most tasty award(i let her lick some of the frosting off the plate...pretty much all of it got eaten in class...*snif*).
